Senior Air Quality Project Manager (10-15 years of experience)
We are seeking a full-time Air Quality Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in the air quality permitting and compliance field to join our growing Colorado office. This position will have the opportunity to work with our manufacturing customers and several small to mid-size oil and gas operators in Colorado and Wyoming in supporting customer air quality permitting and compliance needs.
Primary roles and responsibilities will include:
Management and mentoring of a team of Project Managers with their own direct reports Environmental Engineers and Professionals
Preparation of various air quality permits that include Title V Permits, Construction Permits, APENs, and APEN updates
Site visits to various facilities for permitting, plan writing, or auditing
Development and upkeep of various tools including 12-month rolling emission logs and emission inventory calculators
Oversee and assist with air modeling and emission estimates using various software that include Promax and Aeromod
CO and WY oil and gas air permitting and compliance
Recordkeeping and reporting for Engine compliance and testing
Recordkeeping and reporting for LDAR programs under CDPHE Reg. No. 7
NSPS OOOO, NSPS OOOOa and NSPS OOOOb compliance and reporting
GHG reporting
Secondary roles and responsibilities will include:
General regulatory compliance assistance related to the CWA, RCRA, SPCC/FRP, EPCRA, CERCLA, UIC, CAA and related interpretation, research, regulatory liaison and reporting requirements
Drafting stormwater management plans, SPCC plans, providing support/review of waste program/plan development
Regulatory compliance auditing
Technical and regulatory research and applicability determination of various air-related requirements
Preparation of technical documents, including compliance procedures, plans and permit applications
Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred; however, a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or environmental science will also be considered.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have:
10-15 years of experience in the field of air compliance
Experience with permitting and compliance under Regulation No. 3 and Regulation No. 7 in Colorado
Experience with GHG reporting for manufacturing and the oil and gas industry

Title V experience

Environmental Technician
We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our Denver, Colorado office. If the candidate is an engineer working towards their PE, they will receive service years towards their 4 year work experience requirement under an Aquionix PE.

Scheduling and performance of field sampling and monitoring;
After-hours sampling;
Review and analysis of data;
Preparation of reports;
Maintenance of field sampling and monitoring equipment;
Coordination with off-site laboratory services;
Education: A bachelor’s degree in environmental, health and safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, science or a related technical field is required.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have:
Have a bachelor's degree, preferably in science or engineering;
Experience/knowledge of water quality sampling/compliance;
Have experience in water quality sampling/compliance (wastewater, stormwater, drinking water, ground water);
Be able to think analytically;
Be detail oriented and a competent technical writer;
Be well organized and able to manage several projects at once;
Be able to schedule and complete work with minimal supervision;
Have excellent communication skills;
Be proficient on computers and with Microsoft Office applications;
Be able to manipulate field equipment that weighs up to 50-pounds;
Be able to work in extreme weather conditions and at high altitude;
Have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts;
Be available for occasional overnight travel;
